More recently I have been working with Disruptive Narrative, filming with Actor / Producer Sona Tatoyan in the US and Turkey, exploring her Armenian heritage. "I have worked with Emily to produce various content over the past few years, collaborating as producer and presenter on work she has filmed and edited. Her interviews are always conducted with sensitivity and intelligence, and she has a keen eye for what makes a sequence work visually. Documentary projects have included various profiles raising awareness of Armenian history and culture, and in 2020 we produced a web film for the ‘What Did Kavala Do?’ campaign, drawing attention to the plight of imprisoned Turkish philanthropist Osman Kavala. I continue to work with Emily at The Hakawati Project, a non profit organisation I have founded to help those impacted by the Syrian crisis tell their stories, with the help of professionals in the feature film industry. Emily has consistently produced high quality work, edited with flair and beautifully shot. Her astute editorial eye has also been very valuable when shaping narratives, writing commentary or script editing. “
